About Tom

Hi I am Tom, the other side of 40. Both my boys use Tots, one for the past 6 and a half years.

I was one of those who was happy to leave my boys there, and not really help in any way.

The thought of putting myself forward for Chair was daunting, so I took the plunge after asking Debbie and others who have been chair before me. 1001 questions later I took the post in 2008.

My management team are very PRO active in assisting in the smooth behind the scenes operation of the setting, allowing the manager to run the setting.

We strive and always put the nursery FIRST in all discussions made in consultation with the manager and trustees.

I know we have a good team of qualified, dedicated staff, who afford the greatest of care to yours and my children, with a cheerful, small family friendly setting within Lydden School.
