Hello,

I live at Whitfield with my partner and three children, 2 boys (which can be interesting at times) and a beautiful princess!!! I have lived in Dover since I was 18 and studied Childcare at Canterbury college. I then went on to do my Advanced Diploma in Childcare and Education.

I started work at Tots 2 Teens in 2003 and started off working just 10 hours a week from 12-2, this soon changed and now I work full time in the setting.

All three of my children attend Tots 2 Teens. Both the boys now enjoy the facilities the after school club has to offer and the youngest has just moved from the baby room into the main room. They all have a great relationship with all the staff and management committee. When I am not at work I often have a house full of children and I love every minute of it!!!

I have many pets….3 cats, a rabbit, a guinea pig, 2 fish and 2 bearded dragons, a dog, oh, and a giant African land snail called Lesley, which has on many occasions visited Tots 2 Teens!! We also have 8 chickens, i would like to get a micro pig but at the moment its not possible!

I have always wanted to work with children and love my job!!!! I love to watch the children learn new things and develop emotionally, it’s amazing!! I have built some wonderful relationships with staff, parents and children alike.

I think the parents at Tots would probably describe me as the loud, smiley, over-excitable one with a scrabble obsession who is always singing!!! This description is probably more accurate than I want to admit!!!
